Welcome to Scarlet Light Photography! We are so excited you stopped by. I am Amanda, the red headed (scarlet) photographer and I say “we” because my family is a huge part of my business!! From helping me discover phenomenal locations to building props, they are true assets to this business.

Before taking on photography full-time, I worked with children in the Early Childhood setting for 16 years. Because of my background, family sessions have easily become my favorite! This includes maternity and birthing!  

I'm a sucker for landscapes and pretty skies. I typically get these shots while on a backpacking trip with the hubs or a family hike and love to share!
